The Nonviolence Resolution.
I will do my best to put an end to unethical, violent, "anything-goes" industries while building a true and fair economy.
In doing this through all my choices, I am joining and supporting a community of millions of caring people around the world who are working hard to make this world a better place for all.
To do all of this simply yet powerfully, I will connect my values to my choices. I pledge to make active Nonviolent choices by following my internal Nonviolent compass and whenever possible to:
- Simplify my life -- use less, give more, buy used, reused and recycled
- Buy locally from small, independent, locally owned or cooperative businesses
- Support fair labor
- Walk, bike or use environmentally friendly transportation
- Buy organic foods and clothing
- Pursue renewable energy options like renewable sources of fuel, solar power and wind power
- Support animal-friendly and environmentally friendly products
- Eat a plant-based diet for human health, human rights, the environment and to be kind to animals
- Support humane charities with dollars and/or time
- Recognize the corporate control of media and instead tune in to alternative and community sources of information
- Be kind in my thoughts, words and actions
- Recognize my common ground with others
- Do good in the world

"The time is always right to do what's right."
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
